We’re looking for a Head of Property and Safety to lead our approach to asset management, compliance, and long‑term property performance. What you’ll be doing:
* Leading the organisation’s landlord health and safety approach and ensuring full legislative compliance
* Developing and implementing the Registered Provider Asset Management Strategy
* Overseeing performance management of property and safety metrics and driving top‑quartile outcomes
* Ensuring newly developed assets meet the required standards to deliver long‑term quality and performance
* Leading strategic asset management and investment planning to optimise asset use and customer outcomes
* Creating effective systems and information environments to support compliance and performance assurance
* Providing strong leadership to the Property and Safety team to embed business values and high standards
* Liaising with safety enforcement agencies and external partners to ensure best practice
Who we’re looking for:
* Previous affordable housing experience
* Strong knowledge of asset management and landlord compliance
* Proven experience delivering landlord compliance and asset management services within a relevant organisation
* Strong understanding of the affordable housing sector and Registered Provider statutory responsibilities
* Demonstrated ability to influence and shape the design and development of new homes
* Experience in developing effective stock investment models that deliver value for money
* Strong contract management expertise with a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset
* Confident, decisive and comfortable working at pace in a changing environment
* Excellent relationship‑building skills with a strong customer focus and commitment to high standards
