Regional Sales Manager – Hampshire Based – South Coast Territory – Conveyor Chains
We are looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to own the South Coast territory, covering London and surrounding regions. The role reports directly to the UK Sales Manager and focuses on driving revenue growth through new business development and strategic account management.
Applicants should ideally be based in Hampshire, but strong candidates from other South Coast locations with a proven track record covering the region are welcome.
Responsibilities
* Create and nurture a sustainable pipeline, converting opportunities into long‑term partnerships.
* Achieve an annual revenue target of around £1M while increasing market share across industrial sectors.
* Allocate approximately 40 % of time to managing and developing existing accounts, ensuring high service levels and identifying expansion opportunities.
* Dedicate the remainder of time to securing new business, developing territory plans aligned with commercial objectives, and promoting a broad portfolio of mechanical components, engineered products, and site services.
* Maintain accurate records in the CRM, manage quotations and orders, and provide regular forecasts and activity reports.
* Engage senior stakeholders, negotiate contracts, and interpret technical requirements for engineered components.
Qualifications
* Proven experience selling into industrial environments, especially within the mechanical power transmission or conveyor chain sector.
* Strong track record of client retention, relationship investment, and long‑term partnership development.
* Background in solution‑based selling, territory planning, and pipeline generation.
* Field‑based sales experience and familiarity with industrial distribution or similar product areas.
* Relevant technical or commercial qualification is beneficial.
* Full UK driving licence required.
