Service Technician
Up to £29,000pa d.o.e, NN17 1QE, 33 days leave, days M-F, Pension, Medical Care, Training, Life Insurance, Permanent
Due to continued success, a niche industry machinery provider organisation has an exciting opportunity for a Service Technician to join their fantastic team. You will provide equipment serving support to customer at their sites across the UK (main client base is Midlands - occasional overnight stays required), as well as providing support within their small friendly workshop. This role is 50% field based, 50% workshop based:
* Attending planned service visits to customers site, conducting full and comprehensive service check, detailing any repairs/faults
* Representing the organisation and providing face to face customer service to customers
* Reporting repairs and faults immediately internally, so loan replacement can be arranged, and Repair Engineer can be booked to minimise disruption for customer
* Working within small workshop team fixing level 1 equipment/parts faults
* Ensuring all related documentation is completed and internal maintenance system is updated
* Providing technical support to other departments within the business when required
We would the expect the successful Service Technician to be able to demonstrate good working knowledge of electronic machinery, have an excellent eye for detail, and be an excellent communicator, with great customer service skills. You will be supported 1 to 1 to become familiar with the company processes and procedures. This would be an ideal role for you if you have worked within Service Engineering, Field Engineering or a Workshop Technician role and you are looking for a role which is partly field based.
