Location: On-site at Harpenden, Hertfordshire
Contract: Permanent, Full Time – flexible and part-time hours may be available if desired. Just let us know!
Your Role
As a Section Engineer in our NRNN Water business unit, you will be a vital part of our Thames Water framework major project. We’re looking for a detail-oriented and technically savvy professional to join our progressive and delivery-focused team in the wastewater construction sector.
In this role, you will:
* Act as the main technical adviser on-site for subcontractors, craftspeople, and operatives.
* Interpret design documentation to ensure works align with approved drawings and specifications.
* Support construction teams with technical queries, resolve design conflicts, and drive value engineering initiatives.
* Manage and coordinate temporary works designs and approvals in line with site requirements and program.
* Monitor and record construction progress, providing accurate technical input for project reporting and planning.
What We’re Looking For
This Section Engineer role is perfect for you if you have:
* A Degree/HND/HNC or equivalent in civil engineering, mechanical, electrical, or a related engineering discipline, along with a CSCS and SMSTS Card.
* Experience in a civil engineering or construction environment, particularly within the Water sector.
* A Full Driving Licence.
