Description WTW’s DC research team has an excellent reputation in the industry and we’re looking for someone to join us. If you’re keen, we have an exciting opportunity for a junior member of the team to support our consultants who deliver advice to some of the UK’s largest employers and most innovative DC schemes. Responsibilities: Working in our Central Research and Support team you’ll provide support to DC consultants with the research and assessment of bundled DC products and services in the UK. The providers are generally insurance companies and investment managers. The role includes: Production of governance material through the consolidation and analysis of data and preparing first drafts of client facing output Identify trends and patterns in datasets Presenting results from external data sets in a client friendly format such as graphs and charts Drafting commentary explaining data trends in client facing documents. Contributing ideas on how to expand our centralised data analytics service to meet the evolving requirements of DC consultants and satisfying wider regulatory requirements The right candidate will be given the opportunity to develop in a non-client facing role, expanding the team’s capabilities in this area. Qualifications The Requirements: Located in close proximity to WTW Reigate or London offices (preferably Reigate) as the candidate will need to spend two to three days in the office per week during the initial training and handover period Data analysis experience with proven written communication skills Proficient in Excel, for example, confident with data reconciliation and lookup formulas An interest in artificial intelligence and how this can improve and enhance data analysis and process improvement A competent PowerPoint user with a track record of transforming data sets into engaging presentations Experience of using MorningStar and a base knowledge of workplace pension investments is preferred but not essential Power BI skills Attention to detail with experience of cross referencing datasets Team player, keen to develop new concepts and ideas, able to prioritise and learn new skills.
