Join to apply for the Facilities Business Support Officer role at NHS Borders.
This post is based at Borders General Hospital but will be expected to visit all sites across NHS Borders. The role requires both excellent administrative skills and line management experience, with strong communication and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
* Full line management of General Services Supervisors at Borders General Hospital (BGH) and within the community.
* Provide administrative and project support to the supervisors and managers within the department.
* Manage all relevant facilities staff, including domestics, porters and drivers at BGH and in the community.
* Input and collate data for the department, produce reports for management, and assist in project planning and end user support.

* Excellent administrative and line management skills.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work to tight deadlines.

Due to legislative changes from 1 April 2025, the post may require a different level of criminal records check. If assessed as a regulated role, appointment may be subject to joining the PVG scheme.
