Dahlia Recruitment Renewables are partered with a growing Biogas company based in Northwich and are looking to urgently recruit 2 x Operators that are responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant receipt, handling, storage, and movement of feedstocks for the anaerobic digestion (AD) plant. The role ensures consistent feedstock supply to maintain optimal plant performance while meeting environmental, health & safety, and regulatory requirements. The role operates a rotating shift pattern Mon - Fri from 6am - 1pm and 12pm - 8pm with lots of opportunity for overtime. You must have a full driving license to apply for this role. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Receive, inspect, weigh, and record incoming feedstocks (e.g., food waste, agricultural residues, energy crops, slurries). Verify delivery documentation and ensure compliance with waste acceptance criteria and permits. Coordinate and direct delivery vehicles on-site safely. Sample and visually assess loads for contamination and reject non-compliant materials where required. Manage storage areas (tanks, bunkers, silage clamps, hoppers) to maintain quality and minimise odours and contamination. Prepare and load feedstock blends according to operational requirements. * Maintain accurate records using weighbridge and site management systems. * Track tonnages, storage volumes, and feedstock inventory. * Ensure compliance with EA permits, Duty of Care, and waste transfer documentation. Knowledge & Attributes: Practical, hands-on approach. Reliable and organised. Safety-conscious. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Flexible to support operational demands. Good communication and teamwork skills Basic IT skills for data entry and record keeping. Good understanding of health and safety practices. Experience: Experience in logistics, waste management, agriculture, or industrial operations. Experience operating mobile plant (telehandler/loading shovel/forklift).
