We are seeking a talented and passionate Cook to join our team as we prepare ahead of our peak season. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background and a commitment to food safety and quality. As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and food preparation, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards. Duties
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
* Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.
* Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
* Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as necessary.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.
* Maintain equipment and kitchen tools, ensuring they are clean, functional, and safe to use.
Experience
* Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role within a café setting.
* Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
* Proficiency in various cooking techniques and cuisines, with an emphasis on meal preparation.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate kitchen staff effectively.
* A culinary qualification or relevant training is preferred but not essential for the right candidate with practical experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.71-£13.46 per hour
Expected hours: 29 – 35 per week
