Key Responsibilities: Support teaching and learning activities in the classroom under the direction of the teacher Assist pupils individually or in small groups to help them understand lesson content Encourage positive behaviour, engagement and participation Help create an inclusive learning environment where all pupils feel supported Promote students’ independence and confidence in their learning Support the preparation of classroom materials and resources Uphold safeguarding policies and maintain professionalism at all times Skills & Personal Qualities: Patient, approachable and confident, with empathy for diverse learners A clear communicator who listens well and builds positive relationships with pupils and staff Reliable, organised and flexible in their approach to work Able to follow instructions while also showing initiative when needed A strong team player with a positive attitude Committed to safeguarding, professionalism and continuous learning Working Hours: Monday – Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm Annual Leave Entitlement: 5.6 weeks Qualifications Maths and English GCSE or equivalent at Grade C/4 or above.
