Seller Fulfillment Technology (SFT) team located in Bangalore is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to deliver strategic goals for Amazon ecommerce systems. We are looking for a passionate and experienced QA Engineer to join our team and help us reimagine how to drive quality and efficiency through our testing lifecycle. You are expected to have industry-leading technical expertise that enables you to significantly enhance product quality. Your test plans and automated tests should expose defects at component and feature integration level.
Key Job Responsibilities
1. Create and execute test plans for new/existing products and features
2. Work with development teams to define testing protocol for new features as they are designed and developed
3. Provide additional cross-functional test support for other team members
4. Develop test scenarios from requirements and ensure maximum requirement traceability
5. Provide detailed bug reports to the team using tickets
6. Create detailed documentation to share your product and feature knowledge across the QA team and organization
7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in QA and testing, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve testing processes
Minimum Requirements
1. 2+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
2. Experience in automation testing
3. Experience in manual testing
4. Experience with at least one modern language such as Java, Python, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
5. Experience in Java/Perl/Python based automation
6. Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control
7. Experience in UI and API automation testing (Selenium/SOAPUI)
