The Role
A fantastic opportunity has now arisen for an enthusiastic Paralegal to join our award-winning Residential Property team at our Leicester office.
We are seeking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Paralegal to join one of the top-rated specialists in the region and UK. The focus of the role will be to assist senior fee earners and the wider team. We have one of the largest teams of conveyancing lawyers in the East Midlands, helping hundreds of families in Derby, Nottingham and Leicester move to their new homes every year.
This is an excellent opening for individuals to develop their skills, knowledge and experience and grow into a property focused role. You will work in a team of Paralegals and report into the Partners and Legal Directors to ensure a number of administrative conveyancing tasks are undertaken in a professional and efficient manner along with preparing basic legal documentation and submitting applications to HM Land Registry. The role will also be responsible for managing incoming telephone calls and liaising and updating clients, solicitors and estate agents as necessary therefore excellent telephone and communication skills are essential. Client care is paramount in this role along with excellent administration and organisational skills.
The Successful Candidate
We are looking for individuals who can work as part of a team and who are comfortable following processes and procedures to established deadlines. Previous experience or knowledge of the conveyancing process is preferred together with a basic understanding of Land Law and Contract Law however further training of the processes and development of your legal knowledge will be provided.
