Responsibilities
* Deliver therapy programmes to individual young people or groups in educational and residential settings under direction of senior OT or SaLT.
* Support OT or SaLT in assessment of young people’s communication needs, functional skills and report progress.
* Provide support with resources for individuals and contribute to development of the communication and sensory environment.
Candidate Profile
* Interest in developing young people’s communication and functional skills and meeting communication and sensory needs.
* Experience working with young people with special needs, preferably with ASD and/or LD.
* Basic IT skills and ability to work flexibly and collaboratively as part of a busy team.
* Experience working with ASD and/or LD and/or CAMHS acceptable.
