The Finance Transactional Team is a small team with big ambitions to make real progress and transform service delivery by harnessing the full potential of technology. This newly created role will support the Finance Transactional Manager in migrating, developing, and maintaining the council’s key financial systems to maximise process efficiencies. Having the ability to work independently, as well as support the team in the daily administration of the finance functions will be key to the success of this role. With a strong background in IT, excellent communications skills and a positive approach to change, the Systems & Projects Officer will help deliver service improvements related to financial transactions across the organisation. This role is ideal for a forward-thinking individual with the ability to collaborate and contribute to change through positive engagement at a variety of levels.
