SEND & SEMH Education Roles | Teachers & Support Staff – East Sussex SEND and SEMH schools across East Sussex are currently looking to connect with educators who are interested in working within specialist settings supporting pupils with additional needs. These roles involve working with children and young people who may require additional support with behaviour, emotional regulation or learning. Schools are looking for staff who can provide consistency, structure and a calm, supportive presence in the classroom. We are currently recruiting both qualified teachers and classroom support staff (Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants) across a range of SEND and SEMH environments. Who This May Suit These roles are well suited to individuals who: Have experience working with children or young people Are calm, patient and consistent in their approach Build positive, professional relationships with pupils Are confident maintaining structure and clear expectations Work well as part of a team Are interested in developing within SEND or SEMH education Previous SEND or SEMH experience is beneficial but not essential. Schools are often open to supporting candidates who demonstrate the right attitude and willingness to learn.
