Nursery Teacher
Fixed term for 12 months to cover maternity leave. Full time, required from 20 October 2025. Salary: MS1 to MS6: £32,916 to £45,352 per annum.
John Taylor Multi Academy Trust (JTMAT) believes in the power of education to improve lives – and the world. As a partner academy in JTMAT, we are seeking to appoint an inspiring, enthusiastic, and motivated Teacher to create an engaging and caring learning environment for the youngest learners in our nursery at Branston Locks Primary and Nursery School.
Responsibilities
* Be an excellent classroom practitioner with experience of teaching in Early Years.
* Develop children’s early reading, writing and communication skills.
* Plan effectively to meet the needs of all children and assess, record and report on pupil progress, guiding learning to the next level.
* Contribute to the growth of the school as part of a small team, supporting the leadership team with curriculum implementation, creating resources and designing learning environments that enable all to achieve and progress.
* Be based in the Nursery and support a culture of high expectations and safeguarding.
Qualifications and experience
* Experience of teaching in Early Years and a track record of developing early literacy and communication skills.
* Ability to plan, assess and report on pupil progress.
