ABOUT THE ROLE

We are searching for a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our OpenDoor team as an Online Activation Manager. This is a full-time role based in Istanbul. The role supports WPP's mission to deliver consistency, delivery excellence and best-in-class service for Amazon in every country across its diverse businesses, including XCM, Prime Video, and RMI.


Responsibilities

* Organizes and drives knowledge share and understanding of new trends, channels and technologies across online activations.
* Has hands-on knowledge of ad serving systems and advertising tracking technologies.
* Ensures continual assessment of the ad tech landscape and supports the testing of different ad tech products.
* Effectively identifies issues with quality and performance and proposes improvements.
* Supports the roll-out of new processes across clients and/or departments.
* Collaborates with cross-discipline peers to develop new ways of working.
* Supports interdepartmental activities regarding updates and new processes.
* Continually identifies and implements opportunities for improvement within team processes, supporting systems, and communication channels.
* Supports automation projects, providing feedback and ideas.
* Has a strong understanding of ad server reporting, what views can be acquired from each metric and filter and knows what insights the reports can provide.
* Independently manages the assigned teams, implements campaigns, and provides consultation to teams on complex campaign set-ups.
* Takes responsibility for ensuring the team applies best practices to campaign set-up and acts as the escalation point for issues.
* Understands complex campaign set-ups and best practices, and can devise good ad set-up structures with these.
* Project manages creative specification requirements and digital asset delivery, coordinating timelines and leading communications with our agency partners.
* Leads the creation of campaign creative specs and asset tracker, ensuring alignment with media plans.
* Acts as a primary point of contact for clients and account teams on online activations, providing subject matter expertise.
* Immerses yourself in clients’ structures, teams, and operational processes to build understanding of both the agency and client business.
* Assists in the development and execution of data-driven marketing campaigns across multiple Amazon businesses.
* Utilizes WPP Open and other cutting-edge tools to track campaign performance and identify optimization opportunities.
* Collaborates with WPP and Amazon team members to ensure seamless campaign delivery and outstanding results.
* Contributes to a culture of innovation by exploring new technologies and approaches to marketing challenges.
* Stays abreast of industry trends and best practices in e-commerce and digital marketing.


Qualifications

* Minimum 4-5 years of experience managing digital ad operations processes and delivery.
* Experience with e-commerce marketing or digital advertising.
* Deep understanding of standard workflows, digital marketing and performance metrics.
* Experience with ad technologies including ad servers, dashboards, ad verification platforms, and app tracking solutions.
* Hands-on experience with tag management solutions (e.g., Google Tag Manager, Tealium, Ensighten, Adobe Launch).
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
* Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
* Fluent in English.
* Passion for innovation and a desire to challenge industry norms.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques.
