Our mission is to enable people to better understand the information they need to make informed choices.
We do so by building long term partnerships with organisations. We give them tools and support to transform the way they communicate numbers so more customers can understand key information. This typically includes:
* Training – accrediting Plain Numbers Practitioners to improve communications and lead the application of our method within their organisation.
* Support – providing advice and practical guidance to the trained Practitioners on their communications work. Helping them to improve their customer’s understanding and raise awareness of our work in the wider organisation.
* Certification – specific communications which meet high standards of applying the Plain Numbers Method can be submitted for certification. If successful they will be able to display the Plain Numbers Mark.
* Community – access to exclusive events, content and knowledge sharing to support continued learning.
Overview of Main Duties
The post holder will play a crucial role in the delivery of the partnership model and the growth of Plain Numbers. You will:
* Manage a portfolio of partners on their journey with Plain Numbers – ensuring you foster positive relationships with key stakeholders to achieve high levels of partner satisfaction and maintain the quality of our implementation.
* Be a key part of the team delivering our online training courses, and take an active role in facilitating sessions.
* Provide ongoing support to trained Plain Numbers Practitioners to implement the Plain Numbers Method in their organisation, including providing feedback on specific communications and helping them work towards achieving Plain Numbers Certification.
* Provide an outstanding service to Plain Numbers Partners – keeping in regular contact with Practitioners and their colleagues to ensure they continue to be enthused, valued and on track to implement change.
* Proactively generate opportunities to create marketing content from our work with partners, which will include working with our Marketing team to produce case studies of improved communications.
* Support the delivery of presentations and Plain Numbers awareness sessions to staff and key stakeholders within our Partner organisations.
* Work with our growing team to collate the key learnings from our partnerships and ensure continuous improvement in everything we do. This includes proactively seeking, gathering and recording evidence of the impact of our work with partners – including evidence of improved understanding, positive impacts on customers and impacts on business outcomes.
* Keep accurate and up to date records of our relationships with the Partners you manage and support the team to collect evidence of the impact of our work.
As a small team, we expect the successful candidate to be flexible and undertake a wide range of duties to support the needs of the business as it develops and grows.

* Capable of hosting and leading discussions with training participants and partners.
* Comfortable in external conversations, with a natural curiosity and an ability to explore nuanced topics in a professional and friendly manner.
* A creative problem solver – helping our partners to find innovative ways to embed the Plain Numbers Method into their ways of working.
* Adaptable and enthused by the opportunity to participate actively in a wide range of business functions.
* Willing to learn and develop as the organisation grows, striving for continuous improvements in everything we do.
* A strong believer in, and advocate of, the Plain Numbers mission to enable firms to communicate in a way that more of their customers understand and thereby improve consumer outcomes.
We do not expect the successful candidate to have any pre-existing knowledge of the Plain Numbers Method, but they should be keen to learn and capable of developing this knowledge.
