Facilities Manager – Kingston upon Thames ¦ WPS

Wates Property Services is seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities Manager to lead operations across the prestigious JLL account in Kingston upon Thames. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking team committed to delivering high-quality hard FM services, driving innovation, and making a real difference in the built environment.

As Facilities Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our service delivery—leading a regional team, managing compliance, and ensuring exceptional standards across M&E maintenance, projects, and sustainability initiatives. You’ll be a visible and trusted client partner, fostering strong relationships and championing continuous improvement.

What You’ll Be Doing


* Leading and developing a team of supervisors and engineers to deliver hard services and compliance.
* Driving operational excellence through inspections, audits, and performance reviews.
* Managing stakeholder relationships and presenting MI reports at KPI meetings.
* Supporting sustainability goals and contributing to Wates’ Net Zero journey.
* Ensuring full compliance with health & safety, statutory regulations, and company policies.
* Identifying and implementing value-add initiatives and energy-saving solutions.

What We’re Looking For

* Proven experience in facilities management, ideally across multi-site portfolios.
* Strong technical background in Electrical, Mechanical, Gas or F-Gas disciplines.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* IOSH or NEBOSH certification and BIFM qualification (or equivalent) desirable.
* Hands-on approach with a passion for service excellence and team development.
