Your new role
As an Accounts & Administrative Officer, you will support the Finance Manager as part of a collaborative finance team. This role offers broad exposure across multiple business areas andbines transactional finance responsibilities with general administrative support.Key responsibilities include:
1. Processing purchase invoices through an automated purchase-to-pay system, ensuring accurate matching to purchase orders and correct ledger coding
2. Liaising with internal departments, suppliers and customers to resolve invoice and account queries
3. Reconciling supplier statements and supporting month-end processes, including payment runs
4. Raising and issuing sales invoices and assisting with credit control activities
5. Posting bank and cash transactions and maintaining accurate customer and supplier records
6. Supporting banking processes, including reconciliations, cashbooks and petty cash
7. Assisting with ie reconciliations and control checks, including cash and card transactions
8. Providing administrative support such as filing, document management, data entry and spreadsheet preparation
9. Contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the finance office, including answering calls and supporting visitors when required
Flexibility is essential, as occasional evening, weekend or public holiday work may be required depending on business needs.
What you'll need to succeed

11. You will need:
12. At least 1 year’s recent experience in an administrative role within a finance environment
13. Experience using accounting or financial software
14. Strong Excel skills and good general IT literacy
15. Excellent organisational,munication and interpersonal skills
16. The ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines
17. A flexible approach to working hours when required
18. Desirable experience includes:
19. Working with automated purchase-to-pay systems
20. Using Office 365 applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
