The Trust is rebuilding its Royal Sussex County Hospital (RSCH) site. The programme involves multiple specialties, including Neurosciences, Cancer, Critical Care, Imaging, General/Elderly Medicine, and Outpatients. These services will move into new or refurbished facilities.
The post-holder will support the Capital Development and Property directorate in delivering capital investment programmes, including providing Project Management Office functions for various subgroups and meetings.
Main duties of the job
* Identify key needs and manage resources to support the programme.
* Implement Programme Management Office procedures throughout all project stages.
* Manage administrative systems for planning and delivery.
* Assist in monitoring expenditure against budgets, including project fees and invoices.
* Support formal reviews, including Gateway Reviews.
* Act as a point of contact for staff, public, and contractors regarding issues related to building work.
* Provide PMO support to capital workstreams and subgroups.
* Ensure subgroups and committees are properly organized, with agendas, minutes, and reports prepared.
* Participate in workshops and meetings, ensuring professionalism.

Person specification
Qualifications
* Degree-level or equivalent property/estate management, surveying, or related qualification.
* Evidence of CPD and membership of a professional institute (e.g., RICS, CIOB).
* GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
* Professional registration and European Computer Driving Licence.
* Experience in delivering training programs.
Experience
* Knowledge of PFI contract management and technical standards.
* Experience in construction health and safety management.
Skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication.
* Ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
* Skills in data analysis and report writing.
