The Product Manager will take full ownership of our clients sensor product range, leading the full product lifecycle from strategy and development through to launch and support. The role is both strategic and hands-on, involving cross-functional coordination with sales, R&D, marketing, and operations to deliver high-quality sensor products that meet market needs and support business growth. Key Responsibilities: Manage the entire sensor product portfolio, from design to delivery Conduct market research, feasibility studies, and create business cases for new products Develop and maintain product roadmaps and Market Requirements Specifications (MRS) Collaborate with R&D, Project Management, and Operations to deliver projects on time and within budget Provide training and technical support to global sales teams and distribution partners Oversee sensor technical support and customer service performance Lead competitive analysis and help create product collateral (manuals, datasheets, videos, etc.) Develop and implement go-to-market strategies, including beta trials and early adopter programs Monitor industry trends, regulations, and innovations to keep ION competitive No direct reports Required Skills & Experience: Proven experience in product management (preferably in gas detection or sensor technologies) Strong technical knowledge of sensors and related applications Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels Commercially aware with strong data analysis and decision-making capabilities Familiar with market drivers such as legislation and technology trends Benefits: 25 days holiday bank holidays (increasing with service) 8% pension contributions Private medical insurance (AXA) Life assurance (4x salary), discretionary bonus, sick pay On-site perks: free lunches, parking, bike scheme, car share, early Friday finishes Annual Christmas getaway and long-service awards ACS are recruiting for a Product Manager.
