Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking with fresh and seasonal ingredients, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Duties
* Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
* Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining quality and presentation.
* Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen sections for service.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
* Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours.
* Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
* Showcase your creativity and ideas for the menu.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting.
* Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation techniques.
* Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
