Job type: Permanent Location: Wrightbus Closing date: Tuesday 14 Oct 2025 08:00 The Job Summary: Wrightbus, Europe's fastest-growing production company, seeks a Technical Sales Engineer, this person will contribute to the flow and accuracy of information in relation to the sales specification. This role will require strong working relationships between the customer, the sales representative and Wrightbus engineering. The Role: Key Tasks: Assist NPD in formulating new product specifications to ensure commonality with current specifications. Take responsibility for the specification from initial bid to completion, ensuring all information is complete before passing to design engineering. Manage customer specification to ensure alignment with tender submission. Manage base specification to ensure alignment with standard BOM. Manage new option proposals to customers and into the business regarding: a.) Option costs based on detailed estimates of material and labour b.) Accurate understanding of customer agreement c.) Timeline for introduction d.) Ensuring options are manufactured to expected cost Act as the link between Sales and Design Engineering to ensure smooth, timely information flow. Report on and meet agreed KPIs for the department.
