Production Planner
Chesterfield, Derbyshire
Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking a Production Planner to coordinate and improve production operations to meet demand and uphold quality standards. Reporting directly to the Projects & Materials Manager, you will ensure efficient and timely manufacturing and assembly of goods to meet customer deadlines.
Your responsibilities will include developing and executing production plans, project plans, and reports through effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage daily projects, including renewals and maintenance, ensuring smooth workflow across processes and products.
2. Allocate materials, equipment, and manpower effectively to meet production requirements.
3. Monitor order progress to ensure timely completion within budget.
4. Plan and prioritize operations to optimize performance and reduce delays.
5. Develop quality plans and schedules aligned with project principles.
6. Monitor and adapt plans as necessary, using recovery schedules and contingency plans.
7. Ensure accurate data entry from timesheets and production documents into the ERP system.
8. Maintain organized documentation for audits.
9. Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience:
1. Experience as a production planner in manufacturing.
2. Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.
3. Strong data entry, planning, organizational, and administrative skills.
4. Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
5. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
6. Understanding of manufacturing processes.
