Consultant Psychiatrist in Neurodevelopmental Pathway Service

This exciting post hasarisen as a result of the creation of a new pathway for CYPs withneurodiversity. If you are an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist seeking afresh challenge in a supportive and forward-thinking team, we would love tohear from you. You will have aconsistent and child-centred approach, can provide senior clinical leadershipto the MDT, offer consultation to other professionals and facilitate thedevelopment of the team and wider service.
We offer:
* Asubstantive post at 10PAs per week
* Mondayto Friday service between 9am to 5pm
* Noon call rota
* Upto 30 days of study leave over three years

Main duties of the job
To work as part of a multidisciplinary team and liaise withstatutory and voluntary agencies.To manage a compact case load ofthe most complex cases and to provide senior medical advice, support,consultancy and clinical leadership to Herefordshire and Worcestershire CoreCAMHS.To conduct outpatient clinicsconsisting of routine and urgent new patient assessments and review/follow upappointments.To carry out home visits andtelephone/remote consultations with service users as appropriate.To participate in appropriatemulti-disciplinary team meetings such as MDT meetings & CPA reviews.To maintain electronic healthrecords in accordance with Trust policies.To undertake and maintainstatutory and mandatory training requirements.To actively participate inclinical governance activities.To work within the duties andresponsibilities of the Mental Health Act.

Qualifications
* MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
