Our client is seeking a highly experienced Service Manager to lead their busy workshop and drive continued success within their growing business. Working hours Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm, with 1 in 2 SaturdaysDuties of a Service Manager:
Full responsibility for managing workshop operations and workflow
Leading, motivating, and developing technicians and front-of-house staff
Managing job allocation, bookings, and workshop throughput to optimise productivity
Ensuring high standards of service quality and customer satisfaction
Maintaining effective communication between workshop and service reception
Driving improvements in efficiency, profitability, and overall workshop performance
Upholding high health and safety standards within the workshop environmentRequirements:
Proven experience as a Service Manager, Workshop Controller, or in a senior workshop role
Strong background in a busy workshop environment, independent or franchise dealership experience preferred
Exceptional leadership skills with a hands-on management style
Confident in managing technicians, customer relationships, and high workload pressures
Commercially aware with a focus on profitability and efficiency
Excellent organisational and communication skills
