About the Role
We have over 300 B&Q Stores, with our Digital Hub Stores being the largest in the estate. They deliver locally to our customers’ homes. Deliveries in our 3.5-ton vans range from a tin of paint to 30 packs of flooring, so some heavy lifting is involved. You will play an important part in helping our customers create a home they’ll love. When not delivering multi-drop orders, you will be based on our shopfloor, using new technology to fulfill customer orders and support colleagues where needed. Efficiency and safety are vital, and you will represent our B&Q brand, putting customers first everywhere you go.
What We Need
* A great communicator who can think clearly and make sound plans, even when busy.
* An organized and analytical thinker who keeps things simple.
* We will supply the 3.5-ton van, training, and all necessary kit.
* A manual UK driving licence (Category B/B1), held for at least a year with no more than 6 points.
* Previous experience as a multi-drop delivery driver is useful but not essential.
* Flexibility to work on a rota that includes weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.
Safety and Checks
We carry out checks through Experian with the DVLA to verify your information. We also conduct a DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service). Any discrepancies will be discussed directly with you.
