Agricultural Engineer / Tractor Mechanic

£30,000 to £40,000 per year (DOE) + Overtime
Full-time, Permanent
We’re looking for an experienced Agricultural Engineer / Tractor Mechanic to join a well‑established team in the Tiverton area.
This is a varied, hands‑on role working with a wide range of modern and traditional farm machinery. You’ll split your time between workshop repairs, servicing and mobile callouts to local farms and customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Service, repair and maintain tractors and agricultural machinery
* Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
* Prepare new and used machinery for delivery
* Carry out on‑farm breakdowns and maintenance visits
* Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
What we are looking for
* Proven experience as an Agricultural Engineer, Plant Fitter, or HGV/Mechanical Technician
* Strong fault finding and repair skills
* Self‑motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
* Relevant mechanical or agricultural engineering qualification (advantageous)
