Cover Supervisor – Secondary School (Unqualified Teacher)

We are currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a welcoming secondary school in Monmouthshire. This role is ideal for someone considering a future career in teaching or looking to gain practical experience in a school setting.
Role Overview:
As a Cover Supervisor (Unqualified Teacher), you will:
* Supervise students in the absence of their regular teacher
* Deliver pre-set lessons and follow the school’s lesson plans
* Maintain classroom discipline and ensure students stay on task
* Foster a supportive and positive learning environment
* Provide guidance and support to students as needed
* Liaise professionally with staff and pupils
Requirements:
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Two recent professional references
* Right to work in the UK
* Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
