We are looking for a highly organised and technically proficient Edit Assistant to join the team. This is a hands-on role supporting the editorial and production teams across all stages of the post-production process, both in-house and on location.
Key Responsibilities include: Manage, back up, and transcode a variety of file-based camera media.
Organise and track archive footage throughout production.
Prepare media and projects for offline editing.
Support editors and offline edits.
Set up and maintain offload kits for use on location.
Provide technical support to production and location crews.
Assist the production team in assembling sequences and selects reels.
Liaise with external vendors and post-production facilities.
Handle end-of-edit exports and media consolidates.
Good understanding of the conform process and VFX turnovers.
The ideal candidate will have: Experience in a post-production environment.
Proficient in Avid Media Composer.
Working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Creative Cloud.
Familiar with shared storage systems (e.g., Avid Nexis, QNAP).
Strong understanding of post workflows and archive management.
Solid grasp of camera formats and codecs.
Technical aptitude with troubleshooting abilities.
Able to multitask, prioritise, and remain calm under pressure.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
This is a full-time role based in our Bristol office. Candidates should be available to start on 7th July 2025, with the contract running until the end of August 2026.
