We pride ourselves on maintaining a high standard of service and creating a friendly and enjoyable environment. We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Club Steward (or couple) to lead day-to-day operations and contribute to the ongoing success of our club. Role Overview: As Club Steward, you will be responsible for the overall management and daily running of the club, including the bar, kitchen, and cellar. Your focus will be on ensuring a high-quality experience for our members, maintaining facilities, and supporting events. The position offers the ideal opportunity for a couple or family looking to live on-site and run a close-knit, community-focused establishment. Key Responsibilities: • Manage all aspects of the club’s daily operations. • Deliver excellent customer service to members and guests. • Liaise regularly with the Management Committee. • Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of club facilities. • Adhere to all health and safety regulations. • Plan and support club events and special occasions. • Oversee stock control for bar and kitchen. • Manage bar and food service areas efficiently. • Prepare and serve food; create and maintain a menu for members. Requirements: • Experience in a similar role (club, pub, or hospitality setting preferred). • Strong leadership and team management skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. • Ability to plan, prepare, and serve food appropriate to the membership. • Proficient in purchasing and managing stock. • Cellar management experience. • References required. • Strong understanding of health and safety standards. • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. • Bar or kitchen management experience is advantageous.
