We’re looking for a skilled supply chain professional with proven expertise in production planning and inventory management. If you’re a proactive planner who thrives on problem-solving and collaboration, we’d love to hear from you!
What you’ll do:
1. Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on customer demand, inventory levels and site capacity.
2. Ensure inventory is optimised and maintained within agreed thresholds, managing fluctuations in demand and supply effectively.
3. Adjust and communicate production plans proactively in response to operational challenges or unforeseen issues.
4. Collaborate closely with Production, Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehousing and Quality teams to ensure alignment across operations.
5. Utilise ERP/MRP systems (including SAP) to manage and monitor production schedules and inventory.
6. Support forecasting and capacity planning activities.
7. Manage slow-moving and obsolete stock, analysing usage and driving corrective actions to minimise waste.
8. Contribute to continuous improvement through KPIs such as inventory turnover, supplier performance, and stock availability.
9. Actively support Health & Safety and Quality standards, ensuring compliance and promoting a safe workplace.
What you’ll bring:
10. Proven expertise in production scheduling, supply planning and inventory control.
11. Experience in a manufacturing and multi-site supply chain environment.
12. Proficiency in SAP ERP and MRP-based systems.
13. Strong understanding of inventory management techniques including safety stock and optimisation.
14. Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills, with high attention to detail.
15. A resilient, proactive and collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive under pressure.
16. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
