Due to continued growth we wish to recruit for the role of Sales Consultant based at our showroom in Clough. We are looking for someone who will maximise sales, build good relationships with customers whilst continually striving to exceed their expectations. .
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for ensuring the end to end sale for customers both face to face to face and on the telephone. You will ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times.
Identifying and assisting customers with product selection.
A commitment to high standards of customer service.
Deal with all retail purchases and enquires relating to our Tile and Bathroom products.
Following up on general phone enquiries, supporting the branch in all aspects of customer service, and converting into successful sales.
Establishing customer contact, arranging appointments and visits to the showroom, and proactively developing new sales opportunities.
Providing customers with a detailed and agreed specification and quotation based on their requirements.
Maintain and build relationships with customers.
Continually update your knowledge of products by participating in company and supplier training to achieve department sales targets.
General housekeeping of the department to ensure all products are adequately stocked in a clean and presentable manner.
Cash handling, operation of counter tills and computer system.
Work within other departments as requested to meet customer demands.
Participate in company stock takes ensuring an accurate count of all stock.
Ensure compliance with all regularity and legal requirements.
Any other tasks as required to ensure the efficient operation of the department as requested by the Branch Manager.
Working as part of the wider branch team to ensure overall success of the branch and the brand reputation.
Any other duties deemed reasonable.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
GCSE English and Maths Grade C or above.
