The Role
As a Pilot at Skyports, a normal day might look like:
* You travel to Scandinavia to remote fly some of the latest drone technology for businesses operating in the North Sea and hard to reach locations e.g. oil rigs.
* You will spend time working remotely at our ROC centre in Manchester piloting a range of aircraft globally, all from a central control room.
* You will spend some time working from home compiling reports and delivering on the operational administration of flight operations.
* You might be flying out to areas of Africa launching drones to deliver critical medical supplies to remote locations.
* On the ground in our Westcott command centre, you will be continuously training and developing your skills taught by our world leading BVLOS drone experts.
About You
* Certified Remote Pilot with a knack for mission planning and a passion for drone technology.
* Proactive problem‑solver who thrives in dynamic environments and is ready for risk assessment, ConOps development, or safety compliance.
* Team player with leadership skills who can give and take direction and communicate complex ideas clearly.
* Insatiable curiosity for learning and growth, eager to expand horizons and continuously enhance skills alongside leading BVLOS drone experts.
