We are currently seeking an Experienced Social Worker to join the Adult Safeguarding / MASH team in Swindon. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and knowledgeable practitioner with post-qualifying experience in adult social work, particularly within safeguarding or MASH settings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a caseload involving vulnerable adults at risk, including those requiring protection under safeguarding procedures.
* Conduct evidence-based assessments, gather relevant information, and determine levels of risk.
* Apply a thorough understanding of adult safeguarding legislation, policy, and best practice.
* Lead and chair multi-agency meetings, ensuring coordinated responses and effective team-based support around the individual.
* Develop and implement risk management and reduction plans in collaboration with other professionals and stakeholders.
* Engage effectively with individuals in crisis, demonstrating empathy, resilience, and strong communication skills.
