Salary: £65,000 per annum
Location: Hybrid - Horsham/Remote

The Role:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving new business growth for CTS, focused on winning new school, academy trust, and education-sector customers. This role is outward-facing, target-driven, and works closely with marketing, technical, and service teams to convert opportunities into long-term customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, qualify, and win new business opportunities within the education sector
Own the full sales cycle from first contact through to contract signature
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new name opportunities
Work closely with marketing on campaigns, events, and lead follow-up
Conduct discovery meetings to understand customer needs and position CTS solutions
Prepare and present proposals, pricing, and recommendations
Develop strong relationships with decision-makers (Heads, Bursars, Trust leaders, CIOs)
Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and activity tracking in CRM (HubSpot)
Contribute to go-to-market feedback and proposition development
Skills & Requirements:
Proven success in B2B sales or business development (IT services preferred)
Strong prospecting and relationship-building capability
Confident communicator, comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders
Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills
Self-motivated, resilient, and outcome-focused
Desirable Key Skills & Experience
Experience selling into schools, MATs, or the public sector
Knowledge of managed IT services, cyber security, or cloud solutions
Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms
