We have a unique vacancy for Peer Practitioner and are looking to recruit someone with lived/living experience of Mental Ill Health. This is an opportunity for you to use your lived experience of recovery and self‑management to provide hope and belief for others, through equal relationships and shared experiences. This peer role requires someone who is emotionally resilient and confident to appropriately share the tools and coping mechanisms that have helped them to this point in their recovery. Do you feel able to support others and help them navigate their recovery journey?
Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 support according to discipline.
* Facilitate group work for Decision Skills and ADHD.
* Cover Open Access drop‑in first point of contact for people seeking mental health support.
* Collaborate with NHS and third‑sector organisations within the multidisciplinary Thrive Welcome Teams.
Qualifications
* Lived or living experience of mental illness.
* Strong emotional resilience.
* Confidence in sharing recovery tools and coping mechanisms.
