Overview
We are looking for registered Pharmacy Technicians who will support dispensing services across all LUHFT sites, including Broadgreen and Royal Liverpool Hospital.
Key Responsibilities
* Co‑ordinate a pharmacy team to ensure safe and efficient workflow in the dispensing area.
* Co‑ordinate accurate medication preparation, dispensing and documentation.
* Train pharmacy assistants, trainee pharmacists and junior technicians.
* Maintain high standards of patient‑focused service, meeting all deadlines and quality targets.
* Collaborate within the multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
* Participate in a 7‑day service, including weekend, late‑night and bank‑holiday rosters.
Qualifications and Skills
* Registered Pharmacy Technician with good communication and teamwork skills.
* Excellent organisational and prioritisation ability with a keen eye for detail.
* Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and commit to high‑standard patient care.
* Experience with mentoring and training in a pharmacy setting is an advantage.
Working Conditions
This is a full‑time (37.5 h) position based across all LUHFT sites with a requirement to participate in weekend, late‑night and bank‑holiday rosters.
Professional Development
Mentor training programme will be provided to support the role.
