TAX ACCCOUNTANT - HYBRID - LONDON - UP TO £435/DAY (VIA UMBRELLA) - 6 MONTH ASSIGNMENT
Robert Half are thrilled to be working with a long-standing client who are looking for a Tax Accountant for a 6 month assignment, offering hybrid working and up to £435/day (via umbrella)! This is a great opportunity to be part of an international organisation where you'll work closely with the UK Tax Manager to ensure all UK tax management and reporting obligations are met.
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare UK corporate tax returns, provisions, reconciliations, financial analyses, and claims/elections.
2. Support CFC reviews, US tax reporting, and other ad hoc tax projects.
3. Liaise with internal teams, external advisers, and auditors - managing information flow and building strong working relationships.
4. Assist the UK Tax Manager and wider Global Tax team with special projects and reviews.
5. Conduct risk reviews and apply analytical procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
6. Contribute to tax planning, process improvement, and corrective action initiatives.
7. Support ongoing development of tax governance, reporting controls, and compliance processes (including SAO reporting).
8. Stay up to date with regulatory and tax changes and advise on their impact.
Requirements:
9. ATT, CTA, ACA, ACCA, HMRC equivalent, or qualified by experience in taxation or finance.
10. Experience working in a taxation or financial environment.
11. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and OneSource Corporate Tax (or AlphaTax).
12. Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational.
13. A methodical, self-motivated, and proactive approach with a keen eye for detail.
14. Excellent teamwork, communication, and time-management.
15. A professional attitude with integrity, dependability, and a collaborative mindset.
