We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator (Heating, Boiler & Electrical Services sector) to join a successful and expanding team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent commercial awareness, and the ability to produce accurate mechanical estimates for a variety of projects.
This role is office-based, offering long-term stability, strong company culture and excellent benefits.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare mechanical cost estimates and tenders for new projects
* Review drawings, specifications and client documents
* Liaise with engineers, suppliers and contractors to obtain accurate pricing
* Produce detailed proposals and bid submissions
* Analyse risks, project constraints and technical requirements
* Support the wider commercial and estimating team
Requirements
Must-Have:
* Minimum 5 years experience as a Mechanical Estimator
* Strong understanding of mechanical building services
* Excellent analytical and numerical skills
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Good communication and negotiation skills
Nice-to-Have:
* Experience with estimating software
* Background within construction, M&E or building services
Salary & Benefits
* £42,000 £50,000 per annum
* PAYE employment
* 28 days annual leave
