We are currently looking for a Principal EICA Engineer to join a leading client of ours in the Defence/Nuclear sector. They are a leading infrastructure solutions provider driving innovation across transportation, energy, water, and defence sectors.
Oversee and deliver cost-effective, compliant EC&I (Electrical, Control & Instrumentation) designs and documentation for projects, ensuring quality, budget adherence, and effective coordination from concept to installation.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare and review electrical, instrumentation, and control system designs and documentation.
* Conduct site surveys and support installation, commissioning, and factory acceptance testing.
* Coordinate with suppliers, review technical bids, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
* Oversee project delivery, allocate tasks, and ensure quality and budget adherence.
Requirements:
* Degree in electrical, electronic, or control engineering (apprenticeships considered).
* Significant engineering experience in relevant sectors.
* Strong understanding of design practices, installation requirements, and industry regulations.
* Familiarity with safety standards, risk management, and compliance processes.
