At Quest Global, we are looking for a FAI Engineer for our aerospace customer in Wolverhampton with 5+ years of experience.
This role requires 100% onsite work, a 2-month contract, outside IR35, with an immediate start.

Primary Responsibilities
* Develop, modify, apply, and maintain quality evaluation and control systems and protocols.
* Analyze and explain testing and inspection plans, methods, and technologies to ensure product and process reliability and conformance.
* Make recommendations for corrective actions on nonconformities and design issues for internal products and processes.
* Utilize UPPAP core elements (PFMEA, MSA, Process Capability, FAIR, Control Plans) to manage risk in product development.
* Manage processes to ensure requirements are met for work transfer and process change management, including PPAP acceptance.
* Review process control documentation for compliance with requirements, objectives, and contracts.
* Develop and maintain quality control systems for materials processed into finished or semi-finished products.
* Design testing plans and methods to ensure product reliability, collaborating internally to uphold quality standards.
* Ensure project and process documentation compliance with contractual and quality requirements.
* Identify and manage risks in product development, primarily using UPPAP elements.
* Develop and implement proactive quality initiatives.
* Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions for design issues and escape management procedures.
* Design and implement product engineering changes to address customer quality issues.
* Oversee program and product quality engineering aspects.
* Develop new inspection technologies or methodologies to ensure product conformance.
* Must have experience in NET Inspect.
Work Experience
* Strong PPAP acceptance experience.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with factory management, employees, and stakeholders.
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes (assembly, inspection, testing, fabrication).
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, BOMs, and control materials and tools.
* Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent aerospace market experience.
* Must be a UK Citizen.
Preferred Qualifications
* Quality background preferred.
* Experience with Zero Defect Plan, ACE, Lean, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis.
* Ability to interpret specifications.
* Data mining experience.
* Quality certifications (ASQ, CQE).
