We have an exceptional opportunity for you to join our dedicated team as a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant in Cambridge!Position Details:
* Location: Cambridge, United Kingdom
* Contract Type: Full-time OR Part-time
* Hours: 08:30 - 16:00
* Start Date: ASAP
* Pay Rate: £12.82 - £14 per hour
What You'll Do:
* Provide one-on-one assistance to students, ensuring their individual learning goals are met.
* Assist with the implementation of specialized learning plans and educational interventions.
* Create and maintain a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
* Collaborate with the teaching team, parents, and external professionals to develop tailored strategies for each student's progress.
* Monitor and report on students' academic and social-emotional development.
* Support students during outings, field trips, and extracurricular activities.
What We're Looking For:
* A genuine passion for working with children and young people with special educational needs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
* Relevant experience or qualifications in special education (desirable but not essential).
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
