Role Description
This is a full-time role fora newly qualified solicitorbasedin ourSelfBuildPropertyteam in ourExeterOffice. As aProperty Solicitorat Ronald Fletcher Baker LLP, you willbe responsible forhandling all aspects of residential property transactions (freehold, leasehold, new build, remortgages, transfers of equity and lease extensions).The team specialises in self-build remortgages and purchases;knowledge of self-build or new-build properties would beadvantageous. However, this is not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided.
Qualificationsand Experience
* A qualified solicitor with a valid practising certificateor equivalent
* Demonstrated experience in handling residential property transactions
* Prior involvement inself‑builddevelopments is preferred but not compulsory
* Strong knowledge of property law, conveyancing procedures, and legal regulations
* Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
* Strong communicationand interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently
* Proficient in legal research and drafting legal documents
* Ability to build andmaintainrelationships with clients and stakeholders
* Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
