ConsultANZ is looking for a Maintenance Contracts Manager to join a well-established civil contractor in the roading industry, delivering a high-value road maintenance contract in Hamilton & Wellington, New Zealand.
Responsibilities:
* Take full responsibility for delivering a large-scale urban road maintenance contract, ensuring safety, quality, and performance standards are consistently achieved
* Manage commercial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting against contract requirements
* Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, local authorities, subcontractors, and internal teams
* Lead and coordinate site-based delivery teams across ongoing maintenance activities
* Drive the planning and execution of works to ensure efficient and compliant delivery outcomes
* Attend client and stakeholder meetings, representing contract performance and progress
Requirements:
* Qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent industry experience
* Strong background in civil infrastructure or road maintenance contract delivery
* Demonstrated leadership capability in managing teams and subcontractors
* Experience working within council or public sector infrastructure frameworks advantageous
* Strong understanding of contract delivery, commercial controls, and reporting
* Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills
Benefits:
* Salary: $170,000 – $200,000 NZD + vehicle + relocation support, negotiable depending on experience.
