Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Identify and prioritize patient needs to develop and implement appropriate nursing care plans.
Demonstrate proficiency in age-appropriate care for newborns, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and initiate emergency measures as needed.
Provide care for patients on mechanical ventilation, titrate IV medications, and assist with invasive procedures.
Accurately document all patient care activities and communicate changes in condition promptly to physicians and care team members.
Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and discharge plans.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment that supports patient safety and quality outcomes.
Participate in orientation, training, and ongoing performance improvement activities.
Accept accountability for professional practice and ensure adherence to facility standards and policies.
Requirements:
Licensure:
Active
RN license
in the state of Montana (or compact state eligibility).
Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, and PALS required (PALS may be discussed if not current).
Experience:
Minimum
3 years of ICU nursing experience
required.
Travel Experience:
At least
two completed travel contracts
preferred.
Additional:
Critical Access Hospital experience strongly favored.
Must be
willing to float to Med/Surg
as needed.

Shift:
3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule:
Variable days including weekends and holidays
