Hours of Works
Monday to Friday 7.30 am to 16.00 pm
Early starts and later finishes are sometimes needed but rarely at the same time.
About the Role
The candidates responsibilities will be to our Workshop Manager and will work in conjunction with our senior machinist; we expect the candidate to be proficient in the use of the following equipment:
4 Sider
Cross Cut Saw
Panel Saw
Spindle
Drum Sander
Swan Neck Router
Band saw
Electric / Battery small tools
The candidate will be required to have knowledge of all the equipment listed above and the required training and certification to prove that they are not only capable of using the above but are qualified to do so.
They will be responsible for keeping the machine shop clean and tidy, the replacement of extract bags will also be within this roll, however our driver will also attend these works when not required for deliveries.
The candidate will ideally be able to multitask and during periods of reduced machining requirements, would be expected to assist the bench joiners in progressing the works through the factory.
They would be expected to be able to interpolate information given to them from our Works Manager via Cutting Sheets, Working Drawings and Schedules.
