About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join a high-performing delivery team working on a major transformation programme within the financial services sector. This role involves building scalable, secure, and high-quality software solutions that support complex business operations across multiple teams and technical domains.
You will work in a cloud‑first, agile environment and be responsible for delivering end‑to‑end features—from user interface development through to backend engineering. The ideal candidate will act as a subject‑matter expert, contribute to technical decision‑making, and help maintain strong engineering standards across the team.
Responsibilities
* Design and implement scalable, efficient full‑stack software solutions
* Develop end‑to‑end features across frontend and backend systems
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
* Apply cloud‑first and agile principles to solve technical challenges
* Participate in code reviews and drive best‑practice development standards
* Mentor junior engineers and support a culture of learning and improvement
* Contribute to architectural discussions and technical direction across teams

* Advanced proficiency in Java (P3 – Advanced)
Preferred / Intermediate Proficiency:
* Behavior‑Driven Development (BDD)
* Kubernetes
