Overview
We are seeking a creative, motivated, and organised Communication and Engagement Officer to support our internal and external communications. You will play a key role in shaping Coventry & Rugby GP Alliances voice across digital platforms, media, and stakeholder channels. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on storytelling, digital engagement, and making complex information accessible and impactful.
This role will suit someone with a positive can-do attitude. They must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task on a variety of responsibilities. The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is essential to the role.
Responsibilities
* Support content management and creation across CRGPA digital platforms, social media and newsletters promoting CRGPA's brand and key messages.
* Develop tailored and engaging project communications and marketing materials for CRGPA by applying best practice in communications to strengthen internal and external communication, while contributing to CRGPA\'s growth and brand development.
* Manage internal communications, responding to inquiries and supporting staff and stakeholder engagement.
* Support senior leadership in communicating CRGPA news, achievements, initiatives and services developments across appropriate channels ensuring messages reach relevant audiences.
* Use Canva and other software to create professional marketing materials, liaising with suppliers for printing and merchandise needs.
* Assist with planning and delivery of quarterly company meetings and events organised by senior leadership teams, including venue identification, catering and setting agendas.
* Demonstrate initiative and self-motivation by independently managing workload and ensuring timely delivery of tasks.
* Manage and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, partners and staff, adhering to confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

Job responsibilities
There is lots to be proud of in local NHS services and this role is instrumental in helping keep our staff, service users and the public up to date and involved in everything happening. You\'ll do this by producing an excellent standard of written work, creative social media and digital communications and supporting a co-production approach in everything we do.
Additional responsibilities include:
* Undertake administrative tasks, commensurate with the role and to support the needs of the business
* Assist with monitoring and evaluating communications and engagement activity to ensure agreed standards and targets are achieved
* Ensure timely planning and delivery of communications as part of internal and external engagement.
Qualifications and Skills:
* A minimum of 5 GCSEs (including English and Maths A-C Grade) or NVQ level 2, A levels or NVQ level 3 desirable
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* The ability to multitask and work well under pressure
* A desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
* Familiarity with social media platforms and experience in a similar role is desirable
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* A willingness to take direction and work collaboratively with others
* A positive attitude and eagerness to contribute to the team
