Overview
This is an excellent opportunity to join the Newbury Academy Trust, a vibrant and forward‑thinking Trust with one Secondary and two Primary Schools situated in Newbury. We are looking for a motivated and skilled IT Technician to support and develop the Trust’s technical infrastructure.
Responsibilities
* Provide effective and timely IT support to staff and students
* Maintain system reliability, security and organisation
* Support staff and children confidently, ensuring technology enhances learning experiences across all key stages
* Respond efficiently to technical issues and contribute to smooth day‑to‑day IT running across the school
Qualifications & Skills
* Experience in IT support; ability to provide high‑quality technical support
* Knowledge of system reliability, security and organisation standards
* Collaborative, supportive team player
* Good understanding of safeguarding, DBS checks compliance, and relevant employment checks
